The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that New Atlas Institute has been awarded QAHE accreditation.

New Atlas Institute (NAI) is a Sweden-based provider of international education and research. Its model includes professional diplomas, academic transcripts, and institutional reference letters for learners who complete its programmes, and it has been developing international academic partnerships as it expands its network.

NAI organises its programmes through its own institutional level system. NAI Level 6, Advanced Professional, covers applied advanced professional programmes. NAI Level 7, Advanced Specialist, covers structured specialist and professional-development study. NAI Level 8, Advanced Research, is described as the highest band, focused on research, advanced specialisation, and academic leadership. These levels are the institute’s own classification of academic depth, learning outcomes, and professional competence.

The award follows QA’E’s review of the prov’der’s public information, programme arrangements, and quality-assurance arrangements.

ISO/IEC 40180:2017 provides an internationally recognized standard for quality management, quality assurance, and quality metrics in technology-supported education and training. Through this successful renewal, Euro-American Education and Institute demonstrates its dedication to continuous improvement, pedagogical integrity, and excellence in providing online and distance education to students globally.

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Vijoriya International Publications, publisher of the Vijoriya International Journal for Research & Innovation (VIJRI), ISSN 3107-9806. The memorandum, dated 6 October 2026, covers publication and recognition cooperation.

The parties will cross-refer authors and institutions. Neither party acquires the other’s authority. QAHE may offer Vijoriya publication as an optional add-on to accredited institutions, honorary awardees and authors who have a paper or a short book ready. QAHE will describe the open-access model and direct authors to publication@vijoriya.com and to https://publication.vijoriya.com/submission. Submission, review and acceptance remain with Vijoriya. QAHE will not present a paper as accepted and will not alter the article-processing charge.

QAHE may consider a Vijoriya author for the Distinguished Scholar Award, described at https://www.qahe.org/distinguished-scholar-award-recognizing-excellence-in-education-and-research/. A published paper is evidence, not an automatic award. Each nomination is assessed on the author’s record. The listing fee is US$650 for a digital certificate and website profile, or US$850 for a hard-copy certificate and website profile, plus a 5 per cent administration charge. The award is a recognition of scholarly contribution. It is not an academic degree and it confers no right to supervise or to award qualifications.

Vijoriya will place a short notice and a link to www.qahe.org on its website, using a logo, a two-line description and links supplied by QAHE, pointing to the accreditation application at https://www.qahe.org/accreditation-membership-form/ and to the Distinguished Scholar Award page. QAHE accreditation is an institutional quality-assurance decision. A Vijoriya publication is a journal article or a book.

The memorandum takes effect when both parties have signed it and continues until either party ends it by written notice of thirty days. It creates no exclusive right and no payment between the parties, other than the award fee where an author applies. The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is featured in a release carried by the Associated Press on 8 October 2026. The piece, published through MarketersMEDIA, is titled “QAHE widens its review as more schools seek an outside reading of how they are run” and is available at https://apnews.com/press-release/marketersmedia/press-release-c67f4e9644c50bb457baac1943574174.

The release describes the demand now placed on schools, colleges and training providers to show an outside reader how they admit learners, how they mark work and how they handle a complaint. It reports that QAHE has opened its institutional review to that demand. The review is of the provider. A listing names the institution and the period covered. Readers are directed to the public site at https://www.qahe.org/ and to the application at https://www.qahe.org/accreditation-membership-form/.

The committee asks for a registration extract, a programme overview, study regulations, an assessment policy, a complaints procedure and a quality-review log. The same file is used for a campus school and for an online college. Distance changes the evidence, not the questions. A platform needs an owner, a record of marked work and a person a learner can write to. A prospectus is not a substitute for that record.

The release notes that interest is coming from private schools, vocational centres and colleges that teach across borders, and from institutions that already hold a national registration and want a second, international reading. QAHE puts the number of listed institutions above 400. News of a new listing or a renewal is posted on the site, and the profile remains the page a reader is sent to.

Partnerships are the other half of the public record. The release states that QAHE has signed more than twenty memoranda with quality-assurance bodies and education organisations, listed at https://www.qahe.org/partnership-and-recognition/. Independent Nigeria reported in September 2026 a partnership action plan with the World Accreditation Commission on cooperation in higher-education quality assurance. Published agreements also include the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization and the African Naturopathic Federation. The texts cover exchange of review practice and, where they say so, notice of a listing between the parties.

Honorary awards sit beside the institutional work. Nominations are open for honorary doctorates, fellowships and distinguished professorships, made on a record of service rather than by examination. Recipients are profiled on the site. A school that wants the review, and a reader who wants to check a school, are both pointed to https://www.qahe.org/.

Designed to equip professionals, humanitarian workers, and corporate personnel operating in high-risk or unstable zones, the HEAT program provides immersive, scenario-based instruction. The curriculum focuses on critical competencies including risk assessment, personal safety, kidnap and hostage survival, explosive hazard awareness (UXO/IED), crisis communications, and active shooter response.

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) and Kennedy University (KU) have awarded Dr Tamás Kovács the honorary title of Honorary Professor of Practice in Science Education. The distinction recognises a record that runs from physical-chemistry research into school and higher-education teaching.

Dr Kovács holds an MSc in Chemistry (2004) and a PhD in Physical Chemistry (2007, summa cum laude) from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, and a PGCE in Secondary Physics from Leeds Beckett University (2017). He is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and is working toward Principal Fellowship. His doctoral and postdoctoral work covered combustion, plasma chemistry, nucleation and atmospheric chemistry. From 2007 to 2016 he was a research fellow in the School of Chemistry and the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Leeds, with collaborations that included the National Centre for Atmospheric Research, the British Antarctic Survey, NASA, the Finnish Meteorological Institute and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. His curriculum vitae records 45 publications, including five books and a book chapter, and an h-index of 17.

He moved into teaching through posts at Heckmondwike Grammar School and Benton Park School, then into higher education at University Centre Leeds, first as a lecturer in biomedical science and then as HE Engineering Programme Manager. He has also assessed degree apprentices at Leeds Beckett University. Since October 2024 he has been Head of Maths and Science at A&J School, teaching from primary level through GCSE, A-level and the International Baccalaureate, and mentoring candidates for universities in the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union. Recent papers listed in his record concern STEM education, practical sessions in higher-education STEM, and work in quantum foundations and crystallisation.

The award is an honorary distinction conferred jointly by QAHE and Kennedy University. Dr Kovács may use the title as Honorary Professor of Practice in Science Education, QAHE and KU.

Located in Prague, Czech Republic, the Prague Institute of Business specializes in executive education and professional study programs. The institution earned this recognition following a comprehensive review of its educational methodologies, learning resources, and student support services.

QAHE welcomes the Prague Institute of Business into its network of accredited global institutions and looks forward to supporting its continued educational excellence.

Sri Balaji Vocational Skill Development Academy has renewed its institutional accreditation with the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education. The renewal continues the Academy’s listing after a further review of its vocational and teacher-training provision. The institutional profile on www.qahe.org will be updated once the renewal documents have been issued.

The Academy, which publishes its work at sbvsa.com, was established in 2014. Its public account is of skill development and teacher training, with a stated emphasis on women’s education. It reports having trained more than 6,000 women for work in early childhood education and related fields. The programmes described on the site include a diploma in Montessori teacher training and a diploma in child psychology and school counselling, together with shorter vocational courses.

Champiads, a grade-examination scheme owned by the Academy, covers abacus, Vedic mathematics, drawing, music and related subjects for children from the age of five. The site also points teachers toward the Cambridge Teaching Knowledge Test and short diploma routes. The renewal confirms the Academy’s place among QAHE-listed institutions and keeps its profile, news notice and use of the accreditation mark current for the new period.

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) has renewed the institutional accreditation of EPIM Afrique. The school, an école de management et d’ingénierie based at Izdihar, Immeuble 598, Marrakech, remains on the QAHE directory.

EPIM Afrique delivers its programmes at a distance to professionals and students across Africa. The public offer includes a bachelor’s pathway in business administration, a Master in International Business, an executive MBA, a Doctorate of Business Administration, including a pathway in the management of healthcare institutions, and civil-engineering programmes in works supervision and construction management. Teaching is described as fully remote, with live sessions and individual support. The school states that its diploma pathways are run with Moroccan and French partner institutions. Those partner awards are not QAHE awards.

The renewal is an institutional quality-assurance decision. It confirms that EPIM Afrique continues to meet QAHE’s published standards for an accredited institution. It does not confer authority to award academic degrees, it does not accredit each named programme separately, and it does not replace recognition by a Moroccan, French or other national authority. The listing may be indicated as accreditation of the institution, provided the wording does not imply a separate QAHE accreditation of an individual programme.

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education has renewed the institutional accreditation of Webbic University. The institution was established in 2016 and is registered in Ghana. It teaches by online and offline modes, and it describes its purpose as making higher education accessible through programmes at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral level across a range of fields. It also awards honorary doctorates to persons it judges to have made a contribution in their field.

The university holds registration with the National Vocational Training Institute in Ghana, number NVTI/827/GAR, obtained in January 2022, and it reports recognition arrangements with other institutions. Its published aim is to be known for innovative programmes and for the standard of its teaching. The QAHE listing records that combination of a Ghanaian registration and an international mode of delivery.

The first QAHE listing ran from 29 October 2025 to 28 October 2026. Renewal follows a further review of the institutional file. The updated validity period will be shown on the Webbic University profile once the certificate and the listing have been issued. Until that page is amended, the dates above remain the published period.
