The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that Western University USA (westernuniversity.us) has successfully renewed its QAHE institutional accreditation.
Western University USA is an online institution serving working professionals through flexible, career-focused programmes. Public materials identify the institution with Western State University Corp, doing business as Western University, a Florida corporation. The University states that it is provisionally licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education under Chapter 1005, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 6E of the Florida Administrative Code.
The institution’s published mission is to provide accessible, affordable, and future-focused education that supports personal and professional growth and employability. Through WU Online, it offers pathways in Management, Psychology, Arts, and Information Technology, with an emphasis on combining academic study with practical, industry-related learning for adult learners who require flexible study arrangements.
Renewal of QAHE accreditation follows a review of the institution’s continued alignment with QAHE’s institutional quality-assurance expectations. QAHE accreditation is an independent quality-assurance recognition. It does not constitute the authority to grant qualifications and does not replace state licensure, professional registration, or the recognition procedures of other countries.
