The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that United Global Christian Seminary (UGCS) has been awarded institutional accreditation.
United Global Christian Seminary is a private faith-based Christian theological institution registered in the Republic of South Africa as United Global Christian Seminary (Pty) Ltd (Registration Number 2026/053602/07). Established in 2026 and headquartered at 54 Jenneker Street, Arcadia, the Seminary provides biblical, theological, ministerial, chaplaincy, and Christian leadership education. Its programmes are designed to equip pastors, evangelists, chaplains, missionaries, and Christian leaders for effective service in the Church and community through structured Christian education and training.
The institution delivers its programmes through a combination of distance learning and classroom-based instruction. It maintains teaching facilities that include classrooms, a theological library with print and digital resources, computer and internet access, ministry practice space, a student common room, and an online learning platform. Faculty members hold qualifications ranging from Bachelor’s to Doctoral degrees in Theology, Ministry, Chaplaincy, Counselling, and related fields.
Following a comprehensive review of its legal status, governance, curriculum design, teaching and learning strategies, assessment methods, faculty qualifications, student support services, and available resources, QAHE has determined that United Global Christian Seminary meets the established standards for institutional accreditation.
