Swiss International University (SIU) Renewed QAHE Accreditation for Two Years

Mar 27, 2026

We are pleased to announce that Swiss International University (SIU) has successfully renewed its institutional accreditation with the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre‑Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) for a further two‑year period.

SIU, a global network of academies and institutes with academic locations in Bishkek, Zurich, Luzern, Dubai, Riga, Osh and other centres, has demonstrated continued compliance with QAHE’s standards for governance, academic quality, student support and international recognition. The QAHE renewal recognises SIU’s ongoing commitment to delivering accessible, internationally‑focused higher education and vocational training across multiple delivery modes, including online, blended and on‑campus provision. SIU’s active licences and permissions — notably its state licence from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (License No. LS240001853), cantonal allowance in Luzern, and KHDA approval in Dubai — were taken into account during QAHE’s review alongside SIU’s documented quality assurance arrangements, programme portfolio and evidence of student support.

QAHE’s assessment noted strengths in SIU’s multi‑campus model, extensive international partnerships and its emphasis on flexible learning pathways that include vocational diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The renewal affirms SIU’s position as a provider that maintains continuous improvement processes, robust academic oversight and a clear commitment to recognised standards of quality assurance. It also supports SIU’s stated objective to provide degrees and diplomas that are legally grounded and internationally portable through recognised frameworks and national recognitions.

QAHE congratulates Swiss International University on its renewed accreditation and looks forward to continued cooperation to promote high quality education and improved learner outcomes across SIU’s global network. Institutions and stakeholders that wish to verify SIU’s QAHE accreditation status or learn more about the scope of the renewal may contact QAHE’s accreditation office for further information.
