We are pleased to announce that the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Distance, Open and e-Learning Practitioners’ Association of East Africa (DOLPA-EA). This significant partnership aims to enhance the quality and accessibility of education across East Africa through mutual recognition of accreditation and best practices.
The collaboration between QAHE and DOLPA-EA reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that education is recognized as a fundamental human right. Both organizations are dedicated to providing equitable opportunities for learners, especially the underprivileged and marginalized communities. By working together, we aim to promote innovative Open, Distance, and e-Learning (ODeL) methods that empower educators and institutions in the region.
This MOU will facilitate regular networking and formal engagement among institutions involved in distance education, fostering creativity, resource sharing, and knowledge dissemination. We believe that this partnership will not only strengthen our respective organizations but also significantly contribute to the educational landscape in East Africa.
QAHE looks forward to collaborating with DOLPA-EA on initiatives that will drive excellence, inclusivity, and innovation in education. Together, we can create a more accessible and high-quality educational environment for all learners in the region.
