We are pleased to announce that the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Independent Kazakhstani Center of Accreditation (IKCA). This strategic partnership aims to enhance cooperation in promoting quality assurance in higher education both nationally and internationally.
The MOU establishes a collaborative framework for mutual recognition and cooperation, allowing both organizations to share best practices and resources in the field of accreditation. This partnership will enable QAHE to support IKCA's mission of increasing the competitiveness of educational institutions in Kazakhstan through effective accreditation and quality assurance procedures.
As part of this collaboration, QAHE and IKCA will work together on various initiatives, including the development of accreditation standards, capacity-building programs, and training seminars for academic experts and stakeholders. This cooperative effort will further strengthen the quality of educational offerings and facilitate cross-border educational exchanges.
Moreover, following the recent announcement that IKCA has been accepted as a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation's (CHEA) International Quality Group (CIQG), this MOU highlights the shared commitment of both organizations to uphold high standards in education. Being part of CIQG allows IKCA to engage with a global network of professionals dedicated to advancing quality higher education and quality assurance practices.
We believe that this partnership will contribute significantly to enhancing the educational landscape in Kazakhstan and beyond, benefiting students, educators, and institutions alike. For more information about QAHE and its initiatives, please visit [www.qahe.org].
