The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that Prof. Battula Tirumala Krishna has been conferred the Certified Educator Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to higher education, research supervision, and academic leadership.
Prof. Battula Tirumala Krishna is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the University College of Engineering Kakinada, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK), Andhra Pradesh, India. With over two decades of experience in teaching and research, he has made significant contributions to the advancement of engineering education, particularly in the fields of signal processing, fractional order systems, and VLSI design.
Throughout his academic career, Prof. Battula Tirumala Krishna has demonstrated exceptional commitment to student development and research mentorship. He has successfully supervised 14 Ph.D. scholars and guided numerous M.Tech and B.Tech students, many of whom have gone on to pursue successful careers in academia and industry. His dedication to nurturing the next generation of researchers and educators has been widely acknowledged within the academic community.
In addition to his teaching and supervisory roles, Prof. Battula Tirumala Krishna has an impressive research portfolio, with over 115 publications in international journals, including several in high-impact Q1 and Q2 journals. He has also authored textbooks, contributed to book chapters, and holds multiple patents. His work has been recognized through prestigious awards such as the State Best Teacher Award by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and inclusion in the Top 2% Scientists list.
