QAHE Awards Honorary Fellowship to Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is proud to announce that Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, CEO and President of the African Association of Private Universities (AAPU), has been awarded the prestigious QAHE Honorary Fellowship.

Prof. Gwarzo plays a crucial role as the chief executive officer of AAPU, where he sets the organization's strategic direction and represents it in both public and official capacities. Prof. Gwarzo is the Founder/President General of MAAUN Group of Universities. His dedication to education is testified in the establishment of four Private Universities in Africa. The first one is Maryam Abacha American University of Niger, in Maradi, Niger Republic, and three Private Universities in Nigeria, i.e. Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, (MAAUN) Kano; Franco British International University (FBIU), Kaduna, and the Canadian University of Nigeria (CUN), Abuja, Nigeria, that contribute significantly to academic excellence”.

With a strong emphasis on science education and technology enhancement, Prof. Gwarzo has made notable contributions through numerous scholarships to the less privileged in society. His commitment to improving educational standards in Nigeria and Africa is evidenced by his active involvement in various educational programs aimed at fostering academic excellence.
