Dec 19, 2025

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is excited to announce the successful renewal of accreditation for the Swiss Institute of Management and Sciences (SIMS). This renewal highlights SIMS's ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality education and its adherence to rigorous academic standards, reinforcing its position as a leader in the Mediterranean region’s educational landscape.

Located in the picturesque Zug region of Switzerland, SIMS is renowned for its innovative and diverse academic offerings. The Institute provides a wide range of programs, including undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, and Health and Social Care, as well as postgraduate studies in Healthcare Management, Risk Management, and Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, SIMS offers doctoral programs, including the Doctor of Business Administration and Doctor of Education, aimed at enhancing the professional journey of its students.

A key aspect of SIMS’s commitment to academic excellence is its affiliation with several respected accrediting bodies and educational organizations. Among these is the Zug Kanton, which grants legal licensure to ensure that the institution meets governmental educational standards. This accreditation assures students of a high-quality educational environment, conducive to personal growth and intellectual rigor.

Moreover, SIMS is affiliated with the Swiss Federation for Adult Learning (SVEB), a prominent organization that advocates for adult education and lifelong learning in Switzerland. This partnership underscores SIMS's dedication to maintaining educational relevance and quality through rigorous standards for accreditation and certification.

SIMS also collaborates with UK ENIC, the United Kingdom's National Information Centre for academic recognition, which enhances the visibility and transferability of its qualifications in diverse educational systems. This affiliation allows graduates to navigate international career landscapes with confidence.

The EURASHE association, focused on applied higher education, further enriches SIMS's academic standing by promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange among institutions. Such partnerships ensure that the educational programs at SIMS align with industry standards and workforce needs.
