The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce its partnership with the Accreditation Council for Education (ACE) as they collaborate with LAMDIK to establish LAMDIK as an International Accreditation Institution (LAI). This initiative aims to enhance quality assurance standards in higher education across Indonesia and internationally.
Recently, ACE organized a focus group discussion from August 20 to 22, 2024, at the Platinum Hotel Surabaya, gathering 37 participants to develop the International Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Tertiary Education (ISG-INQAAHE). The event was inaugurated by ACE’s General Chairperson, Professor Muchlas Samani, and involved participants dividing into groups to focus on specific standards.
As a full member of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) since December 2023, ACE is taking proactive steps to prepare LAMDIK for its upcoming review by INQAAHE. This partnership underscores QAHE’s commitment to supporting institutions that strive for international accreditation, ensuring they meet rigorous global standards.
By facilitating LAMDIK’s transition to an international accreditation body, QAHE, in collaboration with ACE, aims to elevate the quality of education in Indonesia and enhance the global recognition of Indonesian institutions. This collaboration is expected to provide significant benefits to students and educators by improving access to high-quality educational opportunities.
QAHE is excited to support this important initiative and looks forward to the positive impact it will have on the educational landscape.
