OCU University is sponsored by the International Alliance for Business Professionals (IABP) in the U.S. Notably, OCU is exempted by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) to offer educational programs solely for the membership of a bona fide trade, business, professional, or fraternal organization. The State of California Bureau for BPPE has determined that OCU meets the qualifications for exemption from regulation under the Act, pursuant to the California Education Code (CEC) section 94874(b)(1).
