The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is thrilled to announce the acceptance of a proposal for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Association of African Private Universities (AAPU). This partnership marks a significant step towards enhancing the quality of higher education across Africa and beyond.
In a letter received from Dr. Bashir Muhammad Garba, Director of Communications at AAPU, the association expressed its commitment to collaborate on initiatives that promote quality assurance, professional development, and the exchange of academic resources. AAPU's President, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, will also be appointed as an Honorary Fellow (Hon. FQAHE) of QAHE, recognizing his leadership and contributions to the advancement of higher education.
QAHE and AAPU will work together to drive improvements in educational standards and forge a robust partnership that benefits both organizations and their member institutions. The MOU will facilitate cooperation in areas such as curriculum development, research, and quality assurance, as well as create opportunities for academic staff exchanges and collaborative projects.
We look forward to a fruitful relationship with AAPU and are excited about the potential impact this partnership will have on the higher education landscape.
