The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that Institute of Postgraduate Education s.r.o. has been granted institutional accreditation. The decision applies only to the single Czech legal provider identified in the enclosed application: Company ID 073 33 137, registered office U Habrovky 247/11, 140 00 Prague 4 – Krč, Czech Republic. It does not separately accredit the public-facing brands Prime Institut, Ústav veřejnoprávních studií (ÚVPS), Institut forenzních věd a bezpečnostně právních studií (IFBS) or Performance Institut. Those names are treated, as the dossier states, as educational divisions of the same company.
The institution was incorporated on 8 August 2018 and has operated under its present name since 5 August 2020. Statutory responsibility rests with Managing Director Ing. Vladimír Částka, MBA. The Czech trade-register extract enclosed with the application records a licence that includes extracurricular education, the organisation of courses and training, and lecturing. Study Agreements and the Academic Regulations state that the programmes are not higher-education study under Czech Act No. 111/1998 Coll. and that the designations awarded are not Czech academic degrees.
QAHE’s review considered the completed application dated 10 September 2026, the master institutional profile, programme overview, academic regulations, admissions conditions, assessment policy, final-thesis and defence rules, thesis-writing guidelines, academic-integrity / plagiarism / AI policy, complaints and appeals policy, student-support policy, quality-assurance policy, privacy / GDPR policy, refund and cancellation policy, internal moderation and standardisation policy, external-trainer selection policy, 2025 annual quality review, financial-stability statement, LMS description and evidence pack, key-management and faculty CV portfolio, organisational and governance structure, study-application form, sample study agreements, seminar-paper and thesis templates, sample test items, and the trade-register extract dated 7 September 2026.
The enclosed file shows a fully online, self-paced model for adult and working learners. Subject study is organised in the LMS around learning materials, recorded summaries, automated tests with a published 70% pass threshold, written seminar papers and, where the programme requires it, a final applied thesis and online defence. Thesis lengths in the current methodology are at least 20 standard pages for BBA, 30 for MBA, MPA, LLM and MSc, and 50 for DBA and LLD, with ČSN ISO 690 citation and a required practical section. The public portfolio includes professional BBA, MBA, DBA, LLM, LLD, MPA and MSc families, together with shorter courses through Performance Institut. Admission routes combine prior education with alternative professional-experience pathways and do not use an entrance examination for the standard programmes described.
The 2025 quality review and the 2026 policy suite record an institution-wide Plan–Deliver–Monitor–Review–Improve–Record cycle, rules on generative AI in assessed work, documented complaints timelines, GDPR processing bases, and four years of statutory accounts (2022–2025) showing a profit after tax in each year. Teaching is delivered through an external-faculty model whose selection and review are set out in the enclosed trainer policy.
QAHE’s decision is an institutional quality-assurance decision. It does not make Institute of Postgraduate Education a Czech university. It does not confer authority to award academic degrees under Act No. 111/1998 Coll. It does not separately accredit BBA, MBA, DBA, LLM, LLD, MPA, MSc or any short course. It does not replace Czech or EU company, consumer, data-protection or professional-licensing law. Public communication after listing must identify Institute of Postgraduate Education s.r.o. as the accredited legal provider and must not state or imply separate QAHE accreditation of an individual brand or programme.
