The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that Grace Hardison TEFL University has successfully renewed its institutional accreditation. The renewal reaffirms the university’s continued commitment to academic quality, flexible online delivery, and the professional preparation of teachers in the field of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
Grace Hardison TEFL University, registered in South Africa (CIPC No. 2021/426752/07), offers a range of fully online programmes designed for aspiring teachers, working educators, and career changers. Its portfolio includes specialist Bachelor of Arts in Education (BA.Ed.) and Master of Arts in Education (MA.Ed.) teaching degrees, a Diploma in TEFL, and a 160-Hour TEFL Certificate. Programmes are structured to allow students to study at their own pace, with options for recognition of prior learning (RPL) of up to 50 percent of academic credit. Every student is assigned a personal guide from enrolment through to graduation.
The university maintains dual accreditation, holding recognition from both QAHE and the American Council of Training and Development (ACTD). Its degree programmes are aligned with the Degree Qualifications Profile (DQP), and graduates may submit their credentials to World Education Services (WES) for equivalency evaluation in the United States and Canada. Leadership is provided by Board Chairman and Principal Dr. Vinesh Shir Singh, whose expertise in TEFL curriculum development, second-language pedagogy, and instructional design continues to shape the institution’s academic direction.
The renewal of QAHE accreditation follows a review of the university’s governance, programme design, faculty capability, student support arrangements, and quality assurance practices. It confirms that Grace Hardison TEFL University continues to meet QAHE’s institutional standards for educational quality and integrity. The accreditation is valid for the period stated on the official QAHE institutional listing.
QAHE congratulates Grace Hardison TEFL University on the successful renewal and looks forward to the institution’s continued contribution to accessible, professionally oriented teacher education.
