FM Voice Studio Obtains QAHE Institutional Accreditation

Sep 07, 2026

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that FM Voice Studio (FMVOICESTUDIO), operating at https://fmvoicestudio.com/, has been awarded QAHE institutional accreditation.

FM Voice Studio is an international vocal training organisation legally based in Hong Kong. It provides vocal coaching, vocal training, and vocal health consultancy for both singing and spoken voice. Founded as the project of vocal coach Francesco Mecorio, the studio operates online and in person, with published partner activity in Korea, Japan, and Italy, and a twin company legally based in London. Services are offered in English, Italian, Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

The institution’s published approach is built on awareness of how the voice works, so that learners can develop control and predictable technique without narrowing artistic range. Provision includes individual coaching, lessons, specialised workshops, and Estill Voice Training (EVT) courses and certification programmes from beginner to professional level. Francesco Mecorio is presented as an Estill Mentor and Course Instructor (EMCI), a certified Vocal First Aider (Level 2, NCFE-accredited in the United Kingdom), and a trainer authorised in Italy to prepare other vocal first aiders under FIPASS-accredited certification. He has served as a visiting lecturer at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts and as an assistant professor at Hongik University in Seoul.

The studio coordinates a network of voice professionals and cooperates with international colleagues in vocal pedagogy and vocal health. Its public materials emphasise healthy technique, individuality, and opposition to discrimination, alongside structured training that links anatomy, function, and acoustic outcome. This combination of specialist pedagogy, multilingual international delivery, and a documented professional profile formed part of the information considered in the accreditation review.

QAHE institutional accreditation applies to FM Voice Studio as the named institution reviewed. It does not automatically extend to separate legal entities, twin companies, country teams, or partner studios unless those entities are independently reviewed and listed. QAHE accreditation is an institutional quality-assurance process. It does not constitute the authority to grant academic degrees or professional licences, and it does not replace Estill Voice Training certification, national regulation, or the recognition procedures of other countries.

QAHE congratulates FM Voice Studio on obtaining institutional accreditation and looks forward to supporting its continued work in structured, internationally delivered voice education. Further information is available at www.qahe.org.
