Dr. Tassang's career is marked by a deep commitment to improving healthcare access and educational opportunities for his community. As a medical doctor with experience at Atlantic Medical Foundation Hospital, Mbingo Baptist Hospital, and Kumbo Subdivisional District Hospital, he has provided critical medical care in various capacities, including general consultations, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and surgery. His dedication to public health extends to his role as Chief Medical Officer at Kumbo District Hospital, where he oversaw the administration of health personnel and supervised the district hospital staff.
Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Tassang is a passionate educator. He has served as a part-time lecturer at the Catholic Medical University in Cameroon, Bamenda, teaching Community Health Medicine and Occupational Health. He also lectured in Neurology, Ophthalmology, Reproductive Health, and Gynecology at ST LOUIS UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE. His commitment to vocational training is evident in his role as Director CEO, Promoter, and Lecturer at ST THIERRY Vocational Training Institute Of Business Management Science Technology and Agriculture (SVIBMSTA), where he supervises all academic, technical, and management activities and lectures in various medical and biomedical science programs.
Dr. Tassang's leadership extends to higher education as the Rector and Director of ST THIERRY Higher Institute Of Health Sciences and Technology (SHIHSAT), where he oversees all academic affairs, administration, and management of university activities. He is also a Senior Lecturer in various biomedical sciences programs, further demonstrating his dedication to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to community development are evident in his role as President and Director of ST THIERRY FOUNDATION, an NGO focused on community empowerment and health awareness. He also serves as the Medical Director of ST THIERRY MEDICAL CENTER, overseeing all hospital activities and providing medical supervision. Furthermore, as Director CEO and Production Manager of ST THIERRY GLOBAL ORGANICS, he manages and supervises the production of various products, including dairy, fruit juices, wine, peanut oil, cooking oil, plastics, soap, and detergents, contributing to economic growth and job creation.
