Distinguished Professorship Award 2023-2024 Nominations

We are pleased to announce that nominations and self-nominations are now open for the Distinguished Professorship Award, issued by QAHE and the American University of Business and Social Sciences. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding academic achievement and contributions to the field of higher education, and we invite nominations and self-nominations from our accredited institutions and partners. The Distinguished Professorship Award is intended to recognize the best and brightest in higher education and to promote the highest standards of academic excellence. We believe that these outstanding educators deserve recognition for their contributions to the field, and we are proud to offer this award as a way to honor and celebrate their achievements. The Distinguished Professorship Award is intended to recognize outstanding academic achievement and contributions to the field of higher education. Nominees should have a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching, research, and service, and should have made significant contributions to the field of higher education. The selection criteria will be based on the following:

• Excellence in teaching, including innovation and creativity in pedagogy and/or
• Excellence in research, including publications and contributions to knowledge in the field and/or
• Excellence in service, including contributions to the institution, community, and profession and/or
• Demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of academic integrity and ethics.

The recipient of the award will receive a digital or hardcopy certificate of Distinguished Professorship Award. The Distinguished Professorship Award is intended to promote the highest standards of academic excellence and to recognize the best and brightest in education. We believe that these outstanding educators deserve recognition for their contributions to the field, and we are proud to offer this award as a way to honor and celebrate their achievements. We would like to inform you that the administrative fee associated with the Distinguished Professorship Award is based on the type of certificate that a candidate wishes to receive. For those who would like to receive a digital certificate of recognition, the administrative fee will be US$500. For those who prefer a certificate with an AUBSS certificate hard copy cover, the fee will be US$700. These fees help to cover the costs of managing the nomination and selection process, printing, and mailing the certificates. We understand that you may have concerns regarding the fees, and we want to assure you that they are reasonable and reflective of the value of this prestigious award. We are committed to transparency and want to ensure that all prospective nominees are aware of the fees associated with the award.
