Crystal International University Receives QAHE Institutional Accreditation

Aug 28, 2026

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that Crystal International University, located in Lusaka, Zambia, has been awarded institutional accreditation.

Crystal International University is a higher education institution based at Plot 033, New Avondale, Lusaka. Operating under the guiding principle of “Intellectual Honour; Clarity with Integrity,” the University provides flexible higher education opportunities through a hybrid learning model that combines Open Distance and Electronic Learning (ODeL) with on-site classes.

The institution offers degree and diploma programmes designed to serve both school leavers and working professionals. Featured programmes include studies in Computer Studies, Management Studies, and Theology. This blended approach aims to make higher education more accessible to learners who require flexible study pathways while maintaining academic support and structured learning.

QAHE’s decision to award institutional accreditation recognises Crystal International University’s commitment to providing accessible higher education through flexible delivery modes and its focus on supporting learners in Zambia. QAHE accreditation serves as an independent institutional quality assurance recognition. It confirms that an institution’s educational offerings meet established standards of excellence and does not constitute the authority to grant academic degrees or qualifications.

QAHE congratulates Crystal International University on this achievement and looks forward to supporting its continued efforts in delivering quality higher education.
