Council on International Higher Education Supervision (CONIES)'s Accreditation Application

International Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (QAHE) has been exploring reciprocal recognition and acceptance from other worldwide renowned accrediting agencies. After communicating with Council on International Higher Education Supervision (CONIES), we have received the following positive reply from Prof. Dr. Gerhard Berchtold, the President of CONIES: “We can accept institutions accredited by your agency on an individial case by case basis and we have to determine which requirements are met by each single university, as we do, you may market the opportunity for your accredited universities and they may first check on our website whether and for which type of accreditation or validation they might qualify. We are not closing mutual recognition agreements with other agencies, because of our particular accreditation scope and standards, however, we can offer a top-up accreditation by CONIES.” QAHE will keep working on the international recognition and partnership to enhance our accreditation and certification services.
