The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that Central European Institute of Business (CEIB) has been granted institutional accreditation. The decision follows review of the institution’s public information at https://ceib.cz/ and the supporting quality-assurance file submitted for the named legal entity.
CEIB operates as Central European Institute of Business s.r.o., a Czech limited-liability company entered in the Commercial Register under IČO 24404926, with its registered office at Lublaňská 267/12, 120 00 Praha 2 – Vinohrady. The company was incorporated on 21 January 2026. The statutory director recorded in the register is František Kyselka. The Institute describes itself as a modern online provider for working learners who want structured study in business and law-related professional programmes.
The public site offers four programme titles: BBA, MBA, DBA and LL.M. Study is delivered online. CEIB presents a three-step learning model it calls CEIB 21 — acquire, apply, verify — with subject materials, application tasks and assessment. It states that each diploma carries a unique verification code for online checking, and that an AI study assistant is limited to the Institute’s own materials. Indicative study lengths published in related CEIB study rules are in the region of seven to ten months, depending on the programme and the number of subjects.
QAHE’s accreditation is an institutional quality-assurance decision in respect of this named company. It records that CEIB’s published governance, programme information, learning model, assessment approach, learner-support statements and related policies were reviewed against QAHE’s published institutional standards.
It does not make CEIB a Czech public or private university under Act No. 111/1998 Coll. It does not confer authority to award state-recognised academic degrees in the Czech Republic or elsewhere. It does not separately accredit the BBA, MBA, DBA or LL.M. titles as QAHE programmes. Those titles remain professional designations of the Institute. QAHE accreditation does not replace Czech or EU consumer, company, data-protection or professional-licensing law.
After listing, CEIB may state that the Institute is institutionally accredited by QAHE. Public wording must not say or imply that QAHE has accredited each named programme, that graduates hold a Czech university degree, or that the listing is a ministry licence to operate as a vysoká škola.
