Professor Festus Uwakhemen Asikhia is a distinguished Nigerian academic, administrator, entrepreneur, and thought leader with extensive experience across higher education, governance, leadership development, and social research. He holds a PhD in Social Work (Health Management), a Post Doctorate in Psychology (Governance and Leadership), a Master of Laws (LLM) from Liverpool John Moore University, an MBA in Human Resources, and an MSc in Social Work (Health). His multidisciplinary academic background reflects a strong commitment to advancing knowledge in governance, leadership psychology, health management, and socio-political development. Currently, Professor Asikhia serves as the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Citiedge University and Academic Dean of the London School of African Entrepreneurship and Leadership Studies. He is also an Honorary Director at Pebble Hills University and holds a Professorship in Psychology (Governance and Leadership) at Atlantic International University. In addition to his academic roles, he is the Board Chairman of Festrut Group of Companies, where he applies his expertise in leadership and institutional development to drive business and social impact initiatives. A prolific researcher and author, Professor Asikhia has published numerous academic papers and books focusing on governance, political psychology, leadership, and national development in Nigeria and Africa. His scholarly work explores critical issues such as governance failures, political behaviour, leadership psychology, and institutional reform. He is widely recognised for bridging academic research with practical leadership and entrepreneurial application. Through his various roles in academia and industry, Professor Asikhia continues to contribute significantly to the development of higher education, leadership capacity building, and policy discourse in Nigeria and beyond.
