Dr. Vladimir Bunic, Ph.D. is a distinguished Converged Security Expert currently serving at Nestlé in Barcelona, Spain. With over two decades of experience spanning cyber security, physical security, digital transformation, and enterprise IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), he has established himself as a leading strategist in the integration of cyber-physical systems security. His work focuses on protecting critical infrastructure through comprehensive risk assessments, advanced security architecture design, and the seamless convergence of digital and physical protection measures, all while driving innovation and organizational resilience.
Holding a Ph.D. in Cyber Security from Provident University, Dr. Bunic has pursued continuous academic excellence. He recently completed a Postdoctoral Research Certificate in IT Strategy and Transformation through QAHE UK and Pebble Hills University. His credentials also include an MBA in Digital Transformation, an LLM in International Law and Legal Studies, along with multiple postgraduate certificates in Technology Law, Organizational Leadership, and Strategic Management from leading institutions across Europe. He is a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), GRC Professional (GRCP™), GRC Auditor (GRCA™), and Certified Project Director (CPD).

Previously, he served as a Cyber Security Lecturer, Consultant, and even as CEO of Modul Computers Ltd. His early military service as an IT Officer in the Croatian Ministry of Defence further strengthened his strategic leadership foundation. He is also actively involved as a Course Instructor at the Counter Terrorism Certification Board (CTCB), teaching Cyber Security, Physical Security Technologies, and Converged Security.
