The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that the American Skills Evaluation Institute (ASEI) has successfully renewed its institutional accreditation with QAHE.
ASEI, whose public website is https://skillsevaluation.org/, is a credential-evaluation organisation based at 7080 Southwest Freeway, Houston, Texas 77074, United States. It was established to assess educational credentials for individuals seeking further study or career progression in the United States and internationally. The institute issues evaluation reports intended to present educational achievements in a form that academic institutions, employers and licensing bodies can review.
QAHE first granted institutional accreditation to ASEI with a validity period from 30 September 2024 to 29 September 2026. A further renewal was announced in October 2025. The present renewal confirms that ASEI continues to meet QAHE’s established standards as a specialised evaluation and testing provider.
The institute describes a structured evaluation process that relies on experienced evaluators familiar with different education systems. Its published services include comprehensive credential evaluation, detailed reporting, and client guidance intended to make the process clear and timely. QAHE’s listing profile also records ASEI’s stated work on updating methodologies, research and development in credential evaluation, and outreach with educational institutions, professional organisations and public bodies.
The renewal is an institutional quality-assurance decision. It recognises ASEI as the named provider of evaluation, testing and related services reviewed by QAHE. It does not convert ASEI into a degree-granting university, does not confer authority to award academic qualifications, and does not replace national rules on admission, employment, immigration or professional licensure. Recognition of any individual evaluation report remains a matter for the receiving institution or authority.
