The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) has been featured on Who’s Who in Malta in an article by Sam Vassallo titled “Malta Leadership Institute renews QAHE accreditation,” published on 4 November 2025. The piece is available at https://whoswho.mt/en/malta-leadership-institute-renews-qahe-accreditation.
Who’s Who in Malta reports that the Malta Leadership Institute (MLI) has renewed its accreditation with QAHE. The article notes MLI’s range of programmes from MQF Level 3 to Level 7 in education, management, and health and holistic wellbeing, and presents the renewal as a further statement of the Institute’s attention to quality for learners in Malta and beyond.
MLI is quoted as saying that the renewed accreditation “underscores MLI’s unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality education and leadership training both within Malta and internationally.” The Institute’s published purpose, as reflected in the feature, is to support leadership and professional development across sectors so that individuals can grow in their work and contribute to the wider community.
QAHE first listed MLI as an accredited institution following institutional review. Renewal is a separate decision. It applies to the Malta Leadership Institute as the named institution and does not automatically extend to separately branded partners or to other legal entities.
Who’s Who in Malta also describes QAHE as an independent, non-governmental quality-assurance body whose work is to strengthen quality-assurance arrangements in education and training. QAHE welcomes that description, with the limits it always states in public. QAHE accreditation is an institutional quality-assurance process. It does not constitute authority to grant qualifications and does not replace licensing or recognition by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) or by any other national regulator. Students and partners should verify the Institute under its exact name on https://www.qahe.org/list-of-accredited-institutions/.
QAHE congratulates the Malta Leadership Institute on the renewal reported by Who’s Who in Malta and thanks the publication for carrying the announcement. Further information is available at www.qahe.org.
