The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that 4HC Academy, legally constituted as 4HC Capacitaciones SpA and operating at https://4hc.cl/, has been awarded QAHE institutional accreditation.
4HC Academy is a Chilean training organisation established by experienced professionals to expand access to continuing education and professional development. It specialises in courses and diplomas in applied sciences and techniques, with a particular focus on the health sector. Programmes are offered mainly through an interactive online learning platform, with selected classroom provision, so that public bodies, private employers, and individual professionals can study with flexibility while remaining in employment.
The institution is registered in the Republic of Chile and presents itself as an Organismo Técnico de Capacitación (OTEC). It is certified under Chilean Standard NCh 2728:2015 for the design, planning, and delivery of training in face-to-face and online modes, a national quality framework for training organisations that draws on ISO 9001 principles. It is also listed as a supplier to the Chilean State through Mercado Público and the national supplier register. Its published mission is to develop skills and competencies that improve performance in organisations and contribute to national development, at accessible fees intended to widen participation.
The catalogue includes short courses and longer diplomas in areas such as patient safety, sterilisation, quality management in health, oncology and palliative care, intravenous therapy, rehabilitation, pharmacy management in primary care, and related clinical and administrative topics. Delivery is supported by an LMS with multimedia materials, exercises, videos, and case-based study, allowing learners to manage their own study time. This combination of sector focus, documented quality certification, and distance-learning infrastructure formed part of the public profile considered in the accreditation review.
QAHE institutional accreditation applies to 4HC Academy / 4HC Capacitaciones SpA as the named institution. It does not automatically extend to separate branches, subsidiaries, or partner entities unless those entities are independently reviewed and listed. QAHE accreditation is an institutional quality-assurance process. It does not constitute the authority to grant academic degrees or professional licences, and it does not replace national regulation, SENCE requirements, or the recognition procedures of other countries.
QAHE congratulates 4HC Academy on obtaining institutional accreditation and looks forward to supporting its continued work in quality-assured professional training. Further information is available at www.qahe.org.
