Birchwood University is a Florida-licensed online institution authorised by the Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education (License No. 11386). The University offers programmes from bachelor’s to doctoral level, with a particular focus on management, data science, cybersecurity, and related professional fields. Its stated mission is to provide advanced, experiential education that bridges theory and practice through applied research, industry collaboration, and flexible online delivery.
The University is also a member of the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges (FAPSC) and Career Education Colleges and Universities (CECU), and partners with World Education Services (WES) for international credential evaluation. These affiliations, together with its state licensure, form part of the institutional framework reviewed in the renewal process.
