The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that American Management University (AMU) has successfully renewed its institutional accreditation.
Headquartered in the United States with operations in Europe, AMU is a higher education institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with a strong focus on business, management, and professional development. The renewal of QAHE accreditation affirms the university’s continued commitment to maintaining high standards in teaching, learning, and institutional quality.
In addition to its QAHE accreditation, AMU holds several other notable recognitions. Its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme is recognized by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in the United Kingdom, allowing graduates to gain eligibility for CMI membership and professional certification. The university is also accredited by the International Accreditation and Recognition Council (IARC), with recognition from the Ministries of Education in the Kyrgyz Republic and Moldova. Furthermore, AMU’s 120-hour TESOL certificate programme has received programmatic accreditation from Accreditat, a UK-based accreditation body specializing in English language and teacher training.
AMU maintains active memberships with several internationally recognized organizations, including educational membership with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) and the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) in the United States, as well as institutional membership with the Association for Transnational Higher Education Accreditation (ATHEA) in Austria. The university is also an affiliate member of CONIES, an international association supporting cooperation in higher education.
In support of student mobility and academic progression, AMU has established articulation agreements with International American University in Los Angeles and European City University in Paris. These partnerships allow students to transfer credits and pursue further qualifications, including MBA and DBA programmes, at these accredited institutions in the United States and Europe.
The renewal of QAHE accreditation, alongside AMU’s other international recognitions and partnerships, reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to provide quality, globally relevant education to its students.
