Dr. Moronke Iyabode Bello, popularly known as Ronke Bello, Ph.D, is a distinguished Nigerian public policy analyst, administrator, communication expert, and leadership development specialist. With over three decades of experience in public service and governance, she has built a reputable career spanning high-level policy formulation, strategic communication, and institutional leadership at both national and international levels.
Dr. Bello holds a Ph.D in Public Administration and Policy Analysis from the University of Abuja, with minors in Political Science and International Relations. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the same university and has undergone executive leadership training through the High Potential Leadership Programme at Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. Her academic foundation is further strengthened by a B.A. (Hons) in Performing Arts from the University of Ilorin and a Senior Diploma in International Public Relations and Marketing from the University of London.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bello served in various strategic capacities within the Federal Capital Territory Administration and The Presidency, Abuja, where she contributed to public policy development, national orientation, and the planning of high-profile state events, including presidential inaugurations and official visits by world leaders such as President Bill Clinton and President George W. Bush. She retired voluntarily in 2011 as an Acting Director (GL 17) after receiving three special promotions for outstanding performance.
Since 2012, Dr. Bello has been the Chief Executive Officer of McFlori International, a professional firm focused on policy analysis, strategic leadership, public relations, and communication consulting for public and corporate organisations. She is also a published author, with notable works including the award-winning book Image? Who Cares! (2006) and Standing Tall: A Contemporary Leadership Compendium (2010). Her regular column, “Currency of Hope,” has appeared in major Nigerian newspapers, where she analyses public policy and governance issues.
