The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce that Ms. Dorothy Buragohain has been admitted as an Associate Member of the Association.
Ms. Buragohain currently serves as Deputy Registrar at The Assam Kaziranga University, Jorhat, Assam, where she leads academic governance, institutional compliance, and quality assurance functions. With over 12 years of progressive experience in higher education administration, she has developed strong expertise in NAAC accreditation, IQAC operations, NIRF and AISHE reporting, UGC and AICTE regulatory compliance, and institutional governance aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Throughout her career, Ms. Buragohain has played key roles in quality assurance and accreditation at reputed institutions including Adamas University, Kolkata, and the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun. Her contributions to statutory body coordination, policy development, and institutional documentation have been widely recognised. She has also served as a resource person and contributed to editorial and publication work at the university level.
