Mar 22, 2026

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre‑Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce the signing of a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Central African Young Professionals Association (CYPA). This strategic partnership marks an important milestone in strengthening professional standards, enhancing international recognition, and promoting a culture of quality assurance among young professionals in the Central African Republic.

Signed on 19 March 2026, the agreement establishes a collaborative framework between QAHE and CYPA aimed at supporting institutional development, capacity building, and global engagement for emerging professionals across the region.

Enhancing Quality Assurance and Professional Standards

Under the terms of the MOU, QAHE will provide guidance and potential accreditation frameworks for CYPA’s training programmes and certifications. This collaboration is designed to help ensure that CYPA’s offerings align with international benchmarks, thereby elevating the credibility and global acceptance of the organization’s professional development initiatives.

Both parties have also agreed to work toward mutual recognition of standards, a key step in improving the mobility, employability, and international competitiveness of CYPA members.

Joint Promotion and Exchange of Expertise

The partnership includes provisions for cross‑promotion of events, including webinars, workshops, and conferences, through each organization’s website, newsletters, and social media platforms. This will expand access to professional development opportunities and increase visibility for both institutions.

Additionally, QAHE and CYPA will engage in the exchange of expertise, research, pedagogical tools, and best practices, supporting continuous improvement in service delivery and professional training.

Honorary Fellowship Consideration

As part of the collaboration, QAHE has extended an invitation for CYPA’s leadership or designated representatives to be considered for the QAHE Honorary Fellowship, recognizing their contributions to professional excellence and community development in the Central African Republic.

A Partnership Built on Shared Vision

This MOU reflects the shared commitment of QAHE and CYPA to advancing quality assurance, strengthening professional capacity, and fostering international cooperation. The agreement will remain in effect for five years, with the option for either party to terminate the partnership with sixty days’ written notice.

QAHE looks forward to a productive and impactful collaboration with CYPA as both organizations work together to support the next generation of professionals in the Central African Republic.
