Dual Accreditation Arrangement with ARIA, Uzbekistan

QAHE ARIA Daul Accreditation

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Accreditation and Rating International Agency (ARIA) of Uzbekistan. This strategic partnership aims to establish a dual accreditation arrangement that will enhance the quality assurance framework for educational institutions in Uzbekistan and beyond.

This collaboration reflects QAHE’s commitment to promoting international standards in education and providing robust accreditation services. By leveraging ARIA’s established presence as the first non-governmental organization in Uzbekistan focused on the quality assessment of educational programs, QAHE aims to facilitate comprehensive assessments that meet global quality benchmarks.

Under this dual accreditation arrangement, educational institutions in Uzbekistan will benefit from QAHE’s rigorous evaluation processes, which are designed to ensure compliance with international standards. This partnership allows institutions to gain recognition not only locally but also on a global scale, enhancing their credibility and attractiveness to students and stakeholders alike.

ARIA’s mission aligns closely with QAHE’s goals, focusing on the needs of students, academic staff, and educational organizations. By working together, both agencies will contribute to the continuous improvement of educational quality in Uzbekistan, fostering an environment where institutions can thrive in a competitive landscape. The partnership will also provide opportunities for joint research initiatives, expert exchanges, and the sharing of best practices in quality assurance.

Furthermore, the MOU establishes a framework for the ongoing development of accreditation standards and methodologies that adhere to international guidelines. This collaborative effort will empower ARIA to enhance its accreditation services, ensuring they remain relevant and effective in meeting the evolving needs of the educational sector.

QAHE is committed to supporting ARIA in its quest to become a leading quality assurance agency in Central Asia, with aspirations of achieving full membership in the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and entering the European Register of Quality Assurance Agencies (EQAR). This partnership is a significant step toward realizing these goals.

As both organizations embark on this exciting journey, they anticipate that the dual accreditation arrangement will lead to higher educational standards in Uzbekistan and provide students with enhanced opportunities for academic and professional growth. QAHE looks forward to a fruitful collaboration with ARIA, driving quality assurance in education and contributing to the development of a skilled workforce equipped for the challenges of the future.
