QAHE Featured on USA Today Press-Release Channel: Scope and Renewal of Quality-Assurance Reviews

Sep 17, 2026

The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to note that a briefing on its accredited institutions has been published on the USA Today press-release channel.

The item is titled “QAHE Highlights Accredited Institutions Across Multiple Regions, Emphasizing Scope and Renewal of Quality-Assurance Reviews.” It was issued from Portland, Oregon, dated 15 September 2026, and appears at https://www.usatoday.com/press-release/story/43573/qahe-highlights-accredited-institutions-across-multiple-regions-emphasizing-scope-and-renewal-of-quality-assurance-reviews/.

The text explains that QAHE accreditation applies to a named legal entity, for a published period, and that renewal is not automatic. It uses institutions in Europe, Africa, Central Asia and Asia to show how missions, national rules and academic fields differ, while the listing itself remains limited to the reviewed scope.

Institutions cited in the release include Altınbaş Cyprus University; BlueCrest University Liberia; the Faculty of Dentistry at Al-Turath University; KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER), Belagavi; Kyrgyz National Agrarian University (KNAU); Preah Sihamoniraja Buddhist University (PSBU); and the School of Dentistry at Central Asian University. In several cases the release also notes national or specialist recognition held separately from QAHE.
