About Mohajir Academy
Founded in 2023 in response to the Taliban's ban on girls' education, Mohajir Academy is a non-profit online educational institution dedicated to providing quality education and skill-enhancing training to those who have been marginalized due to war and displacement. The academy focuses on empowering underserved communities by fostering knowledge, critical thinking, and cultural awareness, ultimately cultivating responsible global citizens.

With over 1.1 million young girls and women in Afghanistan currently lacking access to formal education, and approximately 80% of school-age girls out of school, Mohajir Academy aims to bridge this gap. The term "Mohajir," meaning "immigrant" or "refugee" in Persian-Arabic, reflects the institution's commitment to serving those left behind.
