Institute of Postgraduate Education s.r.o. is a Czech private limited company providing professional, non-degree education for adult and working learners. It was incorporated on 8 August 2018, has used its present legal name since 5 August 2020, and is registered at U Habrovky 247/11, 140 00 Prague 4 – Krč, Company ID 073 33 137, Commercial Register of the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 299304. The company is wholly owned by Theorein Group s.r.o., which is owned by VCF Capital, s.r.o. Statutory representation is held by Managing Director Ing. Vladimír Částka, MBA.
The provider does not operate separate legal campuses. It presents its offer through specialised brands and Czech/Slovak websites: Prime Institut for a broader management, business, law and public-administration portfolio; ÚVPS for public administration and related public-sector study; IFBS for security, crisis management, forensic and legal-professional fields; and Performance Institut for sport management and shorter courses in sport, nutrition, fitness and performance psychology. Contracts and public documents identify Institute of Postgraduate Education s.r.o. as the legal education provider.
The institution’s stated mission is accessible, flexible and practically applicable professional education. Delivery is fully online. After a Study Agreement and the first payment or agreed instalment, learners receive LMS access to subject materials, recorded summaries, tests, written assignments and administrative communication. Study is self-paced. Published indicative durations vary by brand and programme family, commonly in the region of eight to sixteen months for the main professional routes, with longer guidance for DBA and LLD. Programmes are delivered mainly in Czech; final theses may also be submitted in Slovak or English where the programme rules allow.
The current public programme families are BBA, MBA, DBA, LLM, LLD, MPA and MSc, plus shorter professional courses. The enclosed regulations and study agreements state that these designations are professional titles within a private education model and are not Czech academic degrees under Act No. 111/1998 Coll. Standard admission does not use an entrance examination. Entry routes combine secondary or higher-education credentials with alternative professional-experience pathways, including two years of relevant experience for several master’s-level professional routes and five years of managerial experience as an alternative for DBA.
Assessment combines automated LMS tests, written seminar papers and, where required, a final applied thesis and online defence. The illustrated LMS uses a 70% pass threshold. Seminar-paper lengths differ by brand; the final-thesis methodology requires a structured work with a substantial practical section and ČSN ISO 690 citation. Academic-integrity rules prohibit plagiarism and restrict generative AI in the final thesis. Complaints may be raised informally and then formally, with an institutional target of fifteen working days for a complete formal complaint and a fourteen-day window for an academic appeal.
Governance is compact. Public-facing roles include a deputy director, director of studies, director of strategy, finance director, head of legal and head of the study department. Teaching and assessment are provided through external lecturers and practitioners selected and reviewed under a documented trainer policy. Representative profiles supplied with the application cover security and crisis management, human resources, public administration, public law and criminalistics, healthcare management, education management, sport management and municipal administration.
The 2025 annual quality review recorded a functioning online model and identified the need for stronger institution-wide documentation. During 2026 the provider formalised academic regulations, assessment, integrity and AI, complaints, student support, quality assurance, privacy, refund, moderation and trainer-selection policies. Statutory accounts for 2022 to 2025 show a profit after tax in each year, with equity of CZK 1.337 million and cash of CZK 1.803 million at 31 December 2025.
QAHE institutional accreditation applies to Institute of Postgraduate Education s.r.o. as the single legal provider. It is a quality-assurance listing. It does not convert the company into a university, does not authorise state-recognised academic degrees, and does not separately accredit individual brands or named professional designations.
