Honorary Academic Titles: Professorship, Research Supervision, and National Qualifications

Honorary doctorates, honorary professorships, and related titles mark standing or service. They are not earned research degrees. They are not HDR. They are not Docent habilitation. They are not tenured rank at a public university. They are not a licence to chair doctoral panels under French, Finnish, Czech, German, or United States public-university rules.

QAHE’s Honorary Professor of Research Supervision is an honorific title. Candidates submit a current CV and a list of supervised works. Successful awardees receive digital and hard-copy certificates, a badge, a website profile, and the right to use the style Hon. Prof. of Research Supervision, QAHE (Hon. Prof. Res. Sup., QAHE). The award fee is US$550 plus 5 per cent.

The title must be used with QAHE attached. It must not be presented as national habilitation or as graduate-faculty status at another institution. Recipients remain subject to the supervision rules of their own employers and of any ministry that governs doctoral awards in their jurisdiction.

Serious scholars accept honours that are scarce, named, and honestly described. The citation should read like a recognition minute, not like a product page.
